به گزارش حیات به نقل از سایت موسسه جهادی، حضرت آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای، هم در دوران رهبری و هم در دوران ریاست جمهوری، چندین بار به مناسبت سال نو میلادی، پیام‌هایی را صادر نموده‌اند که اولین پیام صادره متعلق است به سال 1360، یعنی اوج جنگ تحمیلی. متن کامل این پیام (به دو زبان) در ادامه آمده است.بسم‌اللَّه‌الرّحمن‌الرّحیمآغاز سال نو میلادى را که یادآور ولادت برکت خیز حضرت مسیح‌بن‌مریم پیامبر بزرگ خداوند است، به هموطنان مسیحى و همه‌ى پیروان راستین آن حضرت در سراسر جهان تبریک مى‌گویم؛ و با استمداد از آن روح و کلمه‌ى خدا، رستگارى و شادکامى را براى آنان و همه‌ى انسان‌هاى نیک اندیش و حق طلب، آرزو مى‌کنم.سال نو میلادى در زمانى آغاز مى‌شود که در سراسر جهان، میلیون‌ها انسان تشنه‌ى عدالت و صفا و صلح و محبت، در اندوهِ فقدان این‌همه، و در آرزوى تحقق وعده‌هایى که حضرت مسیح و همه‌ى پیام‌آوران حق و عدل به انسان داده‌اند، نگاه حسرت‌بار خود را به آینده افکنده‌اند و تشکیل نظام الهى در محیط زندگى را انتظار مى‌برند.و در میهن عزیز ما ایران که نشانه‌ى وعده‌هاى الهى را پیش از همه دریافت کرده است، عراق به تحریک سلطه گران غاصب جهانى، آتش جنگ تحمیلى را در مرزهاى این میهن اسلامى برافروخته است. و بسیارى از هم‌میهنان، از جمله مسیحیان در سال گذشته، بهترین عزیزان خود را به‌خاطر حفظ دستاوردهاى انقلاب شکوهمند اسلامى، هدیه کردند. در آمیختن این خون‌هاى جوشان در مرزهاى حماسه‌خیز میهن عزیز، پیوند چندین صد ساله‌ى مسلمانان و مسیحیان ایران را مستحکمتر و خلل‌ناپذیرتر ساخته است.اکنون جمعى از هموطنان متعهد مسیحى، از برگزارى مراسم جشن سال جدید میلادى چشم پوشیده‌اند تا با احترام به خانواده‌هایى که عزیزانى را در جنگ از دست داده‌اند، پیوستگى و وحدت خود را با دیگر مردم وطن خویش نشان دهند.اینجانب به‌ نام ملت ایران، از این اقدام عطوفت‌آمیز سپاسگزارم. از درگاه خداى متعال مسألت مى‌نمایم که در سایه‌ى حکومت اسلامى و حاکمیت قرآن، سال جدید، سال موفقیت و شادکامى مسیحیان و همه‌ى مردم جهان باشد.سید على خامنه‌اىرئیس جمهورى اسلامى ایران11/10/1360(مأخذ: کتاب «پیام»، ناشر: سازمان مدارک فرهنگى انقلاب اسلامى، چاپ اول: اردیبهشت ماه 1364، ص 38 – 39) In the name of GODI congratulate the beginning of the New Gregorian Year which commemorates the blessed birth of Jesus son of Mary, the great prophet of God, to our Christian compatriots and all true followers of his majesty in the world. And with the help of the Spirit and the Word of God; I wish welfare and salvation for them and every good-minded and liberated man.The New Gregorian Year begins at a time when millions of people in the world who are thirsty for justice, peace, joy, and love; in grief absence of such things and also in hope for the promises made by Jesus and other messengers of truth and justice, to be fulfilled; are regretfully looking at the future and for the establishment of a divine system.Our beloved country, Iran, which has received the signs of divine promises before any one, has been imposed by a War due to incitement of global dominance. During the last year, a lot of our compatriots, including Christians, have been sacrificing their loved ones in order to protect the achievements of the glorious Islamic Revolution. With the mixed boiling bloods on our epical borders, the centuries-old ties between Muslims and Christians of Iran have become stronger and impervious.Right now, a group of our committed Christian compatriots have relinquished the New Gregorian Year s ceremony in order to respect the families who have lost their dear ones in the war, and to show their unity and alliance with their compatriots.On the behalf of the Iranian nation, I am thankful for this delicate behavior.
